Covid Positive Cases
We would like to thank parents/carers for your positive response to the current guidance, resulting in only a few isolated positive cases being reported to school. This has meant, no extra precautions having to be taken in school.
Please remember, if your child (5 and over) is feeling unwell, then please use a lateral flow test with them before they come to school.
If the test is positive, please let the school know the result, date of the test, plus which symptoms they had and when they started.
Number Day
Children really enjoyed this event last year, so we will be participating again on Friday 4th February. Children and staff can wear anything that has numbers on it, whilst paying a £1 donation, on ParentPay, to raise money for the NSPCC.
Children’s Safety on Leaving School Site
Please remember that yellow zig zag lines are put outside of school entrances and exits, to prevent children from being injured in a road traffic accident. Therefore, there is an immediate £100 fine and 3 penalty points for this offence, which can be awarded remotely. Senior leaders will take photos of any vehicles parking in this area.
Every day, there are plenty of parking spaces further down Osborne Road (after Wilton Road) which may result in a slightly longer walk to the school gates. However, all children’s lives are precious and as such, should be protected.
One other reminder, please when leaving from the Reception gates DO NOT step out, straight into the road, as vehicles can turn extremely quickly onto Osborne road from Station Road.
Please wait until the Crossing Patrol, has stopped the traffic and then cross safely, setting the best example for your children.
Safety concern with ROBLOX
School has been informed of harmful content on Roblox including worrying accounts of young children being sent 'friend requests' from strangers and in-game characters imitating inappropriate acts.
A Roblox Parents Guide has been created to help you understand how to keep your children safe on Roblox.
