Red Nose, Non Uniform day – Friday 19th March

Easter Holidays – school closed on Friday 2nd April to Friday 16th April

School reopens – Monday 19th April

Great to be back

It was a sheer delight to welcome staff and children back into school, on Monday.

Early indicators are that many parents have done a fabulous job of supporting their child’s learning at home. Thank you so much. We do appreciate that it wasn’t easy.

Before the end of this term, we will be assessing the children, to ensure that we revisit any areas the children are less confident in.

Breakfast and After School Club

Currently, by following the Department for Education’s strict safety measures in school and adhering to year group bubbles, school is not able to offer either Breakfast or After School Clubs as we would normally.

Next term, it is hoped that we will be able to offer After School Clubs to at least a year group per evening, as we did last term.

As soon as government restrictions permit, we will open Breakfast and After School Clubs to all year groups.

Y6 Working Breakfast

As a school, we recognise the need for Year 6 children to increase their self-esteem and belief in their learning potential, before transitioning to secondary school.

Consequently, from Monday 12th March, Y6 children ONLY, will be invited to attend Breakfast Club from 8am every morning.

During this time, they will receive breakfast, a chance to catch up with friends and make best use of the maths and reading programs available on the

school laptops.

This provision will be FREE of charge and supervised by Mr Wall.

I hope to see all of Y6 there on Monday.
